Video: Interview with Pan Am Champ Zach Rey, 2015 Men’s Freestyle Wrestling World Team Member at 125 kg

The third interview in our “Meet the 2015 World Team” series is with Pan Am Champ Zach Rey, who will be representing the USA at 125 kg in men’s freestyle wrestling. A few weeks ago, Rey was informed that 2x world bronze medalist Tervel Dlagnev was unable to compete at the 2015 World Championships, and Rey would be taking his place on the men’s freestyle world team at 125 kg. In the interview, Rey discusses the opportunity to represent his country at the worlds, as well as what wrestling means to him, and his competitive drive.

About the Meet the 2015 World Team Video Series:

The 2015 Wrestling World Championships take place September 7-12 in Las Vegas, NV. In the days leading up to the event, the International Fraternity of Wrestlers and the National Registry for Wrestling will be posting interviews with the members of USA Wrestling’s men’s freestyle, women’s freestyle, and men’s Greco-Roman world teams.
