The International Fraternity of Wrestlers (IFW) is a membership based fraternal organization created by and for amateur wrestlers. IFW is dedicated to connecting all those who have wrestled, coached and/or officiated at any level during their lifetime to this elite brotherhood of wrestling. The collective strength of the fraternity will create greater purchasing power and larger share of voice when promoting and advocating on behalf of the great sport of wrestling.
The IFW is exclusively comprised of members who have participated in the sport of wrestling. The IFW believes that only those who have earned the privilege to step on the mat and go toe-to-toe with an equally determined individual should be rewarded. Amassing the over 11 million men and women, who have wrestled, coached or officiated is the initial target. Through the collective membership, the IFW will provide three main benefits:
- Advocacy of the great sport of amateur wrestling on all levels
- Financial benefits and rewards for members greater than the price of membership
- Media and marketing dedicated to building a casual spectator audience and increase the relevancy of wrestling globally
