Sponsor a Graduating High School Senior
Wrestling is the 4th most popular participant sport at the high school level.
As of 2015 there are 10,800 high school wrestling teams in the United States, primarily in 49 states. Total participation is about 275,000 young men and about 9,500 young women.
Each year approximately 93,000 high school wrestlers graduate.
This sponsorship program awards one annual IFW membership per High School wrestling program to a graduating senior who has best demonstrated the life qualities wrestling instills in young men and women:
Hard Work, Determination and Perseverance.
Media and advertising opportunities for each sponsor.
A recipient is selected at the discretion of the school’s head coach. An IFW board member will present the recipient with a framed certificate in the presence of school officials and the corporate sponsor or its designated representative during a brief ceremony and photo-op. The certificate will prominently display the sponsor’s name and logo. IFW will seek media placement for each award.
In addition, the IFW’s website will host a wrestling alumni page for individual high schools and promote the award and sponsors on 10,800 web pages.
