Expenses – USA Rugby vs USA Wrestling

Attention all concerned wrestling supporters:

A study has been completed comparing USA Wrestling’s expense budget to that of the new Olympic sport of rugby (USA Rugby). The year 2012 -2013 was picked and they have the best apples to apples comparison.

Notice that both budgets are within a couple hundred dollars of each other. Percentages of spend are much different…

Today rugby’s total budget is approaching $20 million (great growth and support) and USA Wrestling’s budget is approaching $12.5 million – In the 3 years since the comparison, USA Rugby has nearly doubled in budget and USA Wrestling has grown by 20%.

Also notice USA Rugby’s clear and concise plan and goals for revenue — essential for any organization to advance.

We could not find a similar plan for USA Wrestling if one exists, please point us to it and we will revise the report.
